At the beginning Macbeth seems to be indifferent to the news of Lady Macbeth’s death. He says that she would die one day anyway.But then he feels sadness and talks about death and that life has no meaning. Macbeth doesn’t want to live himself when he says “Out,out, brief candle!” and he regrets all crimes.

Macbeth is an equivocator because he speaks ambiguously or doesn’t tell the whole truth. E.g: Macbeth kills Duncan but murder was blamed guards.
